"Mac"
BISS Ch Fanfare's Incumbent UD
November 3, 1984 - August 6, 1997

Ch Fanfare's Incumbent UD was the first of Home-bred Fanfare Shelties to become a dual titled Sheltie and the 96th Sheltie in the History of the Breed to become a Champion Utility Dog.

"Mac's" obedience career was a blast! He was such a clown that is was difficult to correct his mistakes while bending over laughing! In Novice, he scored 195, 196, 197 with a first placement. In Open, he scored 192, 192, 191.5, with two seconds, one first placement, and a High Scoring Sheltie. Utility was something else! He scored 190, 196, 188, with all first placements and a High Scoring Dog in Trial. Not to rest on his laurels after retiring from both rings, he obtained his CGC certificate and was a Drill Team member with over 50 performances at schools, retirement homes, day cares, and marched in Parades. "Mac" was a very special showman, companion, a best friend, and the Wind Beneath My Wings. He won the hearts of many. His life was too short. Those we love must someday pass beyond our present sight, but we know that like a candle, they shine warm and bright in God's eternal light.
