Scotty's dam, Dee Dee, and was purchased from Ed Sanchez when she was 9 weeks old. At 5 months, Dee Dee went to live with Darlene Musick on a co-ownership to grow up and start Darlene out in shelties for a puppy back should Dee Dee ever be bred. It was decided to breed Dee Dee to "Mac" for her first litter.  From this litter came Ch Musical Hopes and Dreams for Darlene and Ch Scotty for us!

Scotty came to live with us when he was 9 weeks old. At 14 months old, Scotty was in great coat and quickly picked up a 4 pt Specialty major and the singles. By 16 months, Scotty, like his dad, needed a major to finish. Off to a Florida specialty went Randy Carr & Scotty with history repeating itself (like father like son) as Scotty finished with 5 pt (Specialty) major their first day out as a team. Scotty loved the Specialties, but did not sparkle for the all-breed shows. After winning 15 Specialty BOBs and 19 all-breed BOBs, the crate door claimed a bottom tooth. I simply did not want to show a special with this fault. So--on to the obedience ring. Go to his performance page for details. Scotty was on the all-breed Fun-Tier Kennel Club's Drill Team just showin' off for kids from one to ninety two prior to our move to San Antonio, TX (Jan. 1999).

Like his Dad, Scotty was a very special showman, companion, and loved by many. He lived here on earth from May 26, 1989 and was buried in our hearts on May 28, 1999.  Scotty, thank you for the memories. "I Will ALWAYS Love You"
